Comlux The Aviation Group granted Maltese Air operating Certificate
Comlux The Aviation Group announced today it has been awarded a Maltese Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC) which enables it to fly freely between all EU member states. This 3rd AOC complements Comlux’s existing Swiss and Kazakh AOCs.
Malta has been chosen as an operating base for a number of reasons including the country’s high standards of regulation and strategic position in between Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Malta also has a fast developing expertise in aircraft maintenance and other services such as banking and legal support.
The acquisition of a European Union AOC is a key step in Comlux Aviation’s expansion plans, facilitating the free operation of Comlux EU registered aircraft between any two European Union airports, thereby increasing flexibility for its customers. The AOC is backed by the quality certification and high aviation standards of security and safety demanded within the EU.
Worldwide demand for specialised charter services is on the increase and through its new daughter company ``Comlux Malta Limited”, Comlux Aviation is now even better able to offer clients superior services. The Comlux Aviation fleet currently consists of Airbus and Bombardier aircraft. The first aircraft to be registered under the Malta AOC is an Airbus ACJ, to be followed shortly by additional aircraft configured for VVIP charter operations.
