Comlux receives its second Airbus A318 Elite

Comlux is pleased to announced that it has taken delivery today of its second new Airbus A318 Elite. The aircraft registered within EU-OPS on the new Maltese AOC is an additional asset for Comlux charter fleet which comprises 1 Airbus ACJ , 1 A318 Elite, 2 Bombardier Global XRS, 1 Global 5000, 1 Challenger 605 and 2 Challenger 850.

The interior of the second A318 Elite at Comlux will be very similar to the first one, but will have additional VIP features “The feedback of our passengers on our first A318 Elite allowed us to confirm the elegance and the efficiency of our initial design choices. The remarkable change on the second aircraft is the main lounge ceiling that we have enhanced to provide an outstanding VIP interior, by installing a dome.” says Isabelle Bevilacqua, Head of Comlux Creatives.

Comlux is successfully operating its first A318 Elite since November 2006 and the aircraft has already accumulated more than 2000 flight hours. “The A318 Elite is perfect for VIP charter market, passengers love the cabin space and there is huge space in the cargo hold for baggage. The demand is high for wide body cabin aircraft and with a third Airbus size aircraft in our fleet, we will be able to answer positively to any request. The brand new A318 Elite is already booked for its 1st VIP charter flight on Sunday!” adds Stephen Laven, CEO of Comlux Aviation division.
