Fly Comlux, the VIP Charter division of Comlux The Aviation Group, today signed, through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, a firm order for an ultra long-range Global Express XRS jet featuring the new Global Vision flight deck. The successful charter operator’s growing fleet of large cabin Bombardier business aircraft currently includes 11 Challenger and Global jets.

Among all our jets, the Global Express XRS aircraft is the leader in terms of customer satisfaction, so expanding our Global aircraft fleet is a natural choice,” said Stephen Laven, Chief Executive Officer, Fly Comlux.“From the Challenger 605 jet to the Global Express XRS jet, these aircraft provide a luxurious yet highly productive environment for doing business in transit between meetings, or relaxing and enjoying the ride.

Comlux’s fleet features Challenger 605, Challenger 850, Global 5000 and Global Express XRS jets – now available for private, business and group charter. In addition, a previously ordered Challenger 605 aircraft and a previously ordered Global Express XRS jet are scheduled to join the fleet in the coming months.

Comlux’s expanding Bombardier jet fleet complements its existing Airbus corporate jet fleet and contributes to the company’s strategic development plan to become the leading long-haul charter services provider in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.

Over the years, Bombardier and Comlux have built a strong relationship which we highly value. The sale of another Global Express XRS jet highlights the strength of their business model and the increasing role of large cabin Bombardier aircraft in successful charter operations,” said Bob Horner, Senior Vice-President, Sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Even in a challenging economy, Comlux shares Bombardier’s philosophy of continued investment in its customers, product offerings and services. This sale further emphasizes that commitment, and also reflects the enduring value offering of the highly respected Global business jet family.”
